Temporary Bilingual Therapist (Part-time)

PURPOSE STATEMENT To provide therapy and support to Ayuda’s clients as a member of the Social Services team. ­­ ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE Ayuda is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing direct legal, social and language access services, education, and outreach to low-income immigrants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Since 1973, Ayuda has provided critical services on a wide range of issues, in the process acquiring nationally recognized expertise in several fields including immigration law, language access, domestic violence and human trafficking. Responsibilities

of the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned. legal department to provide holistic services to clients Provide written documentation supporting client’s immigration case such as psychological evaluations or letters of support Assist in conducting internal and external training as needed Ensure Ayuda representation at local coalition meetings and participate in advocacy initiatives Completes duties as assigned by Director of Social Services to meet the demands facing immigrant communities.

This position will be based in our DC office. This position is hybrid and will include both in-person and remote workdays. On average, this position would be expected to be in the office at least 1 day a week. ATS provider: Paylocity.
