1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how WFH.team collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, candidate dashboard, job matching tools, email alerts, employer tools, or related services.
WFH.team helps candidates find confirmed remote job opportunities and helps employers and recruiters reach relevant candidates. Because this work depends on resumes, job preferences, match signals, and application activity, we treat privacy as a core product requirement.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, name, resume, pasted profile notes, location, timezone, target roles, skills, seniority, salary preferences, employment preferences, eligible work locations, social profile links, employer job posts, and support messages.
We also collect product activity such as saved jobs, applied jobs, dismissed jobs, application notes, alert settings, sign-in events, subscription status, and interactions with job recommendations.
When employers or recruiters use WFH.team, we may collect company name, contact name, contact email, job description, remote policy, salary range, application URL, and related hiring information.
3. Resume parsing and matching
When you upload or paste a resume, we use it to create or update your candidate profile and generate job match signals. This may include extracting roles, skills, seniority, compensation preferences, locations, and remote eligibility criteria.
We use your profile and product activity to rank job listings, identify resume gaps, show fit explanations, improve alerts, and keep your application tracker organized.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve WFH.team, authenticate users, personalize job matches, send sign-in links and job alerts, operate paid subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, analyze product performance, and comply with legal obligations.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand market trends, improve matching quality, and report product performance. Aggregated or de-identified information does not identify you personally.
5. Emails and alerts
If you sign up for WFH.team, we may send transactional emails such as sign-in links, account notices, billing notices, and product updates related to your account.
If you enable job alerts, we may send remote job matches by email. You can unsubscribe from marketing or alert emails using the unsubscribe link in the email or by updating your account settings when available.
6. Payments
Paid subscriptions and checkout flows may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers. Payment providers may collect payment details, billing information, fraud signals, and transaction records according to their own privacy terms.
We store subscription status, plan information, and payment provider identifiers needed to manage access to paid features.
7. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate WFH.team, including hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, security, logging, and customer support providers.
We may share candidate information with employers or recruiters only as part of product features you use, such as applying to a job, expressing interest, or otherwise choosing to make your profile or application available.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
8. Third-party links
WFH.team may link to employer websites, application pages, social networks, payment providers, and other third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
When you leave WFH.team and apply on an employer site, that employer or job platform controls the information you submit there.
