Offshore Manufacturing Business Analyst at Jobsforhumanity
FabScenes is a startup making wall mounted diorama art that tell stories. At FabScenes, we are starting a small workshop to manufacture wall mounted art but have not yet selected a country to invest in. We are seeking a business/legal analyst to conduct a search of the financial and legal environments in several prospective countries.
This will include researching and understanding: Tax rates such as import, export, and payroll Standard business costs like rent and shipping Setting up appointments with lawyers to get a sense of how much bureaucracy and paperwork are involved at different junctures This is a contractor position, and we expect this effort to last a few weeks at most, but the time will depend upon the complexity we encounter. We are based in the US but this role is for Lebanon/broader middle east. ### Job

An ability to think creatively about what legal/business problems could arise in offshore manufacturing before they arise in reality A degree in business is appreciated for this role. Experience with setting up new businesses and basic understanding of law is a bonus but not required An overall positive demeanor Honest and trustworthy Department: Business Development.
