Review pre-labeled audio segmentation and transcription for accuracy and correctness.

Follow project guidelines to ensure high-quality results.

Contribute to improving AI speech recognition models.

Project Breakdown

Segmentation

Review and refine speech boundaries so that each interval reflects a coherent intonational phrase based on prosodic annotation conventions.

Transcription

Create accurate orthographic transcriptions that faithfully capture spontaneous speech production, including morphosyntactic variants, overlaps, mimicry, and reduced forms.

Requirements

Fluent, Native or near-native proficiency in US English.

Prior experience with transcription and familiarity with ADAP, or similar speech annotation tools.

Strong understanding of phonetics, phonology, and prosodic annotation.

Ability to recognize intonational phrases, pitch accents, and prosodic boundaries.

Keen ear for spontaneous conversational speech, including disfluencies and overlaps.

Strong attention to detail and consistency in transcription conventions.

Background in segmentation and transcription

Payment Details

Compensation for Project Calendula is based on the audio hour rate.
