Tecovas was founded in 2015 by Paul Hedrick, who merged his professional passion for entrepreneurism with his born-in-Texas love for cowboy boots. Paul felt the Western industry had become stale, was confusing to shop (especially for first-time boot buyers), and lacked experiences that “wowed” customers. So he set out to build a Western brand that would take the magic of the West and serve it up through a modern, customer-first lens.

Fast forward to today and we’re still designing boots in Austin and crafting heritage-made boots with our trusted partners in León, Mexico — and performance-minded footwear with our trusted partners in Vietnam. By doing things our way, and growing with a singular focus on what customers truly want, Tecovas has become the fastest-growing Western brand in the world. Our goal is for everyone–from generational ranchers to first-time boot buyers–to fall in love with our boots the moment they pull them on and go hard after the things they love and care about.
