The Leadership School is St. Louis County's first public charter school, established to grow students' leadership capacity through earnest engagement in an academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and relationship-oriented environment. Founded in 2019 and opening its doors in Fall 2022, the school serves students and families within the boundaries of the Normandy Schools Collaborative in North St. Louis County.

The school started with kindergarten through second grade and adds a grade each year, with plans to grow into a full K-8 program. The Leadership School uses FranklinCovey's Leader in Me curriculum to nurture the next generation of leaders who will set and achieve personal goals and positively impact their communities. By coupling a sense of belonging with rigorous academic experiences, the school lays the foundation for authentic student leadership, preparing students to become transformational leaders for their communities and the world.

As a free public charter school, TLS provides an innovative educational option that prepares students to be in the driver's seat of their own learning. With approximately 150+ students and a student-teacher ratio of 19:1, the school offers personalized attention while fostering leadership skills in young learners from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.
