Volunteers of America of Massachusetts (VOAMASS) provides holistic, integrated care to help our clients address behavioral health challenges, housing, and employment needs. Established in 1934, VOAMASS has grown to serve thousands of individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth each year, embodying the mission of the national Volunteers of America organization founded in 1896 by Ballington and Maud Booth.

As a dedicated nonprofit organization, VOAMASS offers a wide array of services including residential treatment, outpatient behavioral health services, and various programs specifically designed for veterans. Our comprehensive approach is centered on empowering clients by focusing on their strengths and needs, and we utilize trauma-informed care practices to guide our service delivery. With nearly 200 diverse professionals working across multiple locations in Eastern Massachusetts, our goal is to provide compassionate support that enables individuals to navigate life’s challenges, rebuild their lives, and ultimately achieve self-sufficiency.
