Establish data architecture standards and provide technical direction, design review, and oversight for data pipelines, ingestion processes, ETL/ELT workflows, transformation rules, and source-to-target traceability implemented by the engineering team. Guide the integration and governed use of approved enterprise data sources across existing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, including logical views, APIs, pipelines, data stores, and semantic models, as applicable. Lead integrating new systems with existing warehouse structures and refine system performance and functionality, guiding the continuous improvement of the EOIR data estate. Drive the delivery of analytics, recurring/ad hoc reporting, and executive dashboards (utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI). Lead enterprise data governance and quality management efforts, including the creation of metadata, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
