Adjuvant Behavioral Health remote jobs and company guide
Adjuvant Behavioral Health is a leading oncology-focused tele behavioral health clinic providing specialized mental health services to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through online therapy, medication management, and collaborative care partnerships with oncology practices nationwide.
About Adjuvant Behavioral Health
In 2001, Dr. Jimmy Myers founded The Timothy Center, a brick-and-mortar behavioral health facility in Austin, Texas. For nearly two decades, the center served the community as a traditional mental health practice. In 2007, Dr. Jimmy Myers' son, Dr. Josh Myers, joined as co-owner and operator, bringing fresh perspective to the growing practice.
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, the father-son duo made a pivotal decision: they transitioned their established practice entirely online, embracing virtual behavioral health services. This transformative shift laid the foundation for Adjuvant Behavioral Health. By January 2022, the Myers duo sought to build a more robust, technology-first behavioral health clinic specifically focused on oncology patients. They partnered with Dr. Chris Murray, whose expertise in scaling behavioral health practices and oncology-focused services proved invaluable, and Dr. Zsila Sadighi, a renowned Neurological Psychiatric Oncologist with experience at St. Jude's Hospital and MD Anderson. Together, these four founders established Adjuvant as the nation's first mover in psycho-oncology, providing specialized tele-behavioral health services to cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers. Today, Adjuvant serves over 250 clinics nationwide, offering individual and family counseling, intensive outpatient programs, and psychiatric medication management - all integrated directly into oncology treatment plans.
