Adolescent Wellness Academy (AWA) was founded with a clear mission: to address the growing adolescent mental health crisis that traditional healthcare systems often fail to adequately address. Recognizing that teenagers facing mental health challenges and their families desperately needed more than generic treatment programs, the founders created a specialized treatment center focused exclusively on adolescents ages 13-17 in South Florida.

Today, AWA operates three facilities across South Florida, serving teens in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Boca Raton communities. The organization offers a comprehensive range of programs including Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Virtual IOP, and individual teen counseling services. AWA is accredited by the Joint Commission, meeting rigorous international standards for quality and safe care in mental health treatment.

The treatment approach at AWA goes beyond simply managing symptoms. The organization takes a family-centered approach, recognizing that healing requires addressing the entire family system.
