Animals Asia remote jobs and company guide
International charity dedicated to ending bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals across Asia.
About Animals Asia
We're devoted to ending the practice of bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals across Asia. Since our founding in 1998, we have been pioneering a movement to replace cruelty with compassion, working tirelessly to rescue moon bears, sun bears, and brown bears from the bile industry. We believe that every animal deserves to live free from pain and fear, and our sanctuaries in China and Vietnam provide a lifelong haven for bears rescued from the trauma of bile farms. Our work extends beyond rescue; we collaborate with governments, local communities, and other NGOs to bring about long-term, systemic change that protects animals and promotes their welfare.
Our mission is multifaceted and deeply rooted in the belief that empathy is the key to a kinder world. In addition to our bear rescue programs, we are committed to ending the trade of dogs and cats for food, advocating for the humane treatment of captive animals in zoos and safari parks, and promoting companion animal welfare. We work to raise awareness and educate the public about the emotional and physical needs of animals, fostering a culture of respect. By combining hands-on rescue work with policy advocacy and community engagement, we are building a future where animals are treated with the dignity they deserve.
