The Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) is Asia's leading network of institutional investors dedicated to mitigating climate risks and seizing the opportunities presented by the net zero transition. Founded in 2016, AIGCC operates as a not-for-profit organisation that connects, collaborates, and advocates on behalf of its members across eleven key markets in Asia, including China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan ROC, Thailand, and Vietnam.

AIGCC represents more than 80 members managing over $30 trillion in assets under management globally. The organisation's mission is to create awareness and encourage action among Asia's asset owners and financial institutions about the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and low carbon investing. Through its work, AIGCC activates investors, encourages high-emission businesses to transition to net zero, and advocates for policy frameworks that unlock capital for climate solutions.

The organisation focuses on three core strategic areas: Investor Practice and Capacity-Building, which provides working groups, peer-to-peer dialogues, roundtables, resources, and masterclasses to help members manage climate risk; Stewardship and Corporate Engagement, which ensures institutional investors engage with major emitters across Asia on ambitious climate action aligned with the 1.5°C target; and Policy and Advocacy, which contributes to collective advocacy for policies that enable investors across Asia to allocate capital in the transition to net zero.
