We are an independent, non-governmental, and non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people in conflict in their efforts to achieve sustainable peace. Founded in 1971 by Georg Zundel at the height of the Cold War, we have spent over 50 years working to transform violent conflict and foster peaceful coexistence. Our mission is rooted in the belief that while conflict is inevitable, violence is not.
