Bashir Foundation for Fistula and Women's Health (BFFWH) is a non-governmental organization committed to enhancing women's health and well-being in Nigeria. Founded in September 2018 by dedicated individuals, we aim to raise awareness of Obstetric Fistula and address broader women's health issues through advocacy, education, and sustainable support initiatives.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive healthcare services, education, and support to women affected by fistula and other reproductive health issues. We are committed to raising awareness about these often-neglected conditions, advocating for policy changes, and working towards eliminating the stigma associated with them. Our work spans from providing surgical interventions and rehabilitation for fistula patients to advocating for women's rights and empowering the girl child through education and community sensitization efforts. The foundation operates with an advisory board comprising professors from Obafemi Awolowo University and the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, providing academic and strategic guidance to drive our mission forward.
