In 2012, ER doctor Blake McKinney had an epiphany. He regularly received text messages from friends and family requesting medical advice. Why couldn’t that immediate, easy, familiar mode of communications be made available to everybody? Especially those undeserved by traditional healthcare.

With that in mind, Blake and co-founder, Andrew Altorfer created CirrusMD. Designed to make texting a doctor as easy as texting a friend.

Since then, CirrusMD has expanded to provide healthcare access to nearly 10 million users across all 50 states, with care delivered through multi-specialty, board-certified doctors who can treat a broad range of conditions, from acute to chronic, and from primary care to specialty areas, including behavioral health.
