About Climate Jobs National Resource Center
At the Climate Jobs National Resource Center (CJNRC), we believe that labor must lead the fight against climate change. As a labor-led organization at the forefront of combating the climate crisis and reversing racial and economic inequality, we serve as the hub of a growing network of union-led, state-based climate jobs coalitions across the country. Our team works to provide unions with the information, support, and expertise they need to lead on climate action and build a clean energy economy at the scale and pace that climate science demands.
We're supporting workers and building a network of union-led coalitions in states across the country to advance ambitious, pro-worker climate action. Our coalitions have helped pass the nation's most ambitious climate policies, won the strongest labor and equity standards for clean energy workers in the country, and built winning campaigns for worker-centered and equity-focused climate investments. We advocate for ambitious clean energy policy that drives high levels of investment in job creation and clean energy development through projects such as large-scale offshore wind farms, utility-scale solar power generation, building retrofit programs, statewide solar rooftop programs for schools, and statewide electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Together with our partners, we are committed to making life more affordable for working families while creating good union jobs, lowering bills, and building more reliable clean energy to power our homes and communities.
