Girls Who Invest (GWI) is a non-profit organization founded in April 2015 and dedicated to increasing the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership within the asset management industry. Our mission is to transform the investment management industry by empowering young women through education and access to opportunities that can foster their successful careers in finance. GWI offers a variety of programs that provide participants with tuition-free finance education, internship experiences, and career placement support.

At GWI, we recognize that the investment management industry has historically lacked gender diversity, and therefore, we are committed to bridging this gap. Our organization prepares talented women to become the next generation of leaders in finance, aiming for our benchmark of 30% of the world’s investable capital to be managed by women by 2030. In our programs, we focus not only on academic training but also on mentorship and community support, providing a comprehensive system that empowers our participants. GWI has successfully reached and guided over 1,400 women through our initiatives, demonstrating substantial impact and dedication to advancing women in the field of finance.
