About Bimbo Bakeries USA

In 1945, Don Lorenzo Servitje Montull, along with partners Jaime Jorba, Jaime Sendra, Alfonso Velasco, and José T. Mata, founded Panificación Bimbo in Mexico City with a visionary mission: to make truly good, nutritious, tasty, and affordable bread for Mexican families. What began as a small bakery operation wrapped in cellophane has grown into Grupo Bimbo, the world's largest baking company, operating across 39 countries with over 153,000 collaborators.

Today, Grupo Bimbo produces and distributes more than 9,000 products under approximately 100 brands, including sliced bread, buns and rolls, pastries, cakes, cookies, toast, English muffins, bagels, tortillas and flatbreads, and salty snacks. The company operates under iconic brands such as Bimbo, Oroweat, Thomas', Sara Lee, Entenmann's, Marinela, Barcel, and Ricolino. With a presence spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa, Grupo Bimbo has transformed from a Mexican bakery into a global food powerhouse, serving consumers in over 99 countries worldwide.

Grupo Bimbo is committed to nourishing a better world through sustainable practices, including zero net carbon emissions goals, regenerative agriculture initiatives, and zero waste programs. The company has also been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere for ten consecutive years and has earned spots on prestigious lists like Forbes' Best Employers and TIME's World's Best Companies. With its Bimbo Ventures arm, the company continues to innovate and invest in startups across food-tech, smart supply chain, and commercial technology verticals.
