Our journey began in 2012 as a small, grassroots movement of Computer Science students united by a single, powerful goal: to build and deliver better, more accessible technical education for anyone eager to learn digital literacy and programming skills. From these humble beginnings, we've grown into a global organization with physical campuses, a robust online education platform, and partnerships with respected universities. We were born out of the desire to solve a critical problem our founder, Riaz Moola, witnessed firsthand at university: a staggering number of students were failing their computer science courses due to a lack of foundational skills. We knew there had to be a better way than the traditional, often expensive and time-consuming, university model.

Our core mission is to close the global tech skills gap by providing an industry-aligned alternative that is both affordable and effective. We achieve this through a unique, human-led approach. We don't just give you videos to watch; we provide you with a personal mentor and expert code review to guide you through our project-based courses. This method ensures you're not just learning theory but building practical, real-world skills that make you job-ready in as little as three to six months. We've proudly brought coding skills to thousands of students across more than 40 countries, partnering with renowned institutions like The University of Edinburgh and Imperial College London. Our commitment extends beyond education; we have a dedicated placements team to support our graduates in securing tech jobs, helping to expand and diversify the tech talent pool both in South Africa and globally. We are passionate about making a real social impact and creating new career paths for people from all walks of life.
