Martide's all-in-one platform is designed to help shipping companies recruit and manage crew, suppliers advertise their services, and seafarers find maritime jobs.

So this is where we tell you about the origins of Martide. The seeds of our company were sewn after a late night conversation our Managing Director and CTO, Sam Hamilton, had back in 2015 with an acquaintance in the shipping industry. They talked at length about the lack of a truly great end-to-end software solution that would help shipowners and ship managers effectively find and recruit seafarers, and then manage their crew.

It was a seed that took root and over the coming months ideas were thrown around, plans were formulated, blueprints were drawn up, site maps were pored over, meetings were held, investment was secured...and eventually the seed started to grow. And Martide, a recruitment and crew management solution for forward-thinking shipping companies, was born.

Now we're a flourishing company made up of talented individuals who live and work in a number of different countries across the world.
