The OPOR system is designed to support a centralized booking system to reduce surgical wait times, enable paramedics to view patient health information en route to emergencies, and give primary healthcare providers easier access to patient data. Furthermore, Nova Scotia Health is collaborating with Google Cloud to integrate artificial intelligence-driven tools, such as 'Citizen Search' via the YourHealthNS app, to empower Nova Scotians with better access to health information and services. These technological advancements are pivotal in our mission to streamline healthcare delivery, improve patient outcomes, and make Nova Scotia a more attractive place for healthcare professionals to work.
