We're Rerun, and we're passionate about building the essential data infrastructure for the physical AI revolution. Founded in 2022 by Nikolaus West, Emil Ernerfeldt, and Moritz Schiebold, our mission is to empower developers working with robotics, autonomous vehicles, spatial computing, and other Physical AI applications. We understand that AI systems are increasingly interacting with the physical world, generating complex multimodal data like video streams, 3D scenes, and sensor readings that don't fit neatly into traditional software development tools. This data complexity can significantly slow down industry progress, and that's where we come in.

We're developing a multimodal data stack that combines open-source visualization tools with a high-performance commercial database. Our open-source project has already gained traction within the community, helping developers create powerful visualizations of their Physical AI data. This allows them to 'see the world through the eyes of the robot,' understand system behavior, and debug issues more effectively. Our commercial offering, currently in development with select partners, will provide managed infrastructure to ingest, store, analyze, and stream large volumes of this complex data. We believe that by providing these tools, we can help teams run more experiments faster, accelerating the 'data flywheel' in Physical AI – where smarter systems lead to more deployment, more data collection, and even smarter systems. We're a remote-first company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with a distributed team across the US and Europe.
