UpNow Health Limited, headquartered in Hong Kong, was born from a desire to make the benefits of hypnotherapy accessible to a wider audience. Christine Deschemin, a certified hypnotherapist with a background in engineering and finance, discovered the power of hypnosis firsthand. Intrigued by a friend's success in overcoming alcohol dependency through hypnotherapy, Christine delved into studying the practice. Her own experiences as an athlete and in high-stress professional environments further fueled her interest in resilience and performance enhancement.

This journey led to the creation of the Renewed Edge Hypnotherapy Centre in Hong Kong and subsequently, in March/May 2020, the launch of the UpNow hypnosis app. The app was conceived to bring self-hypnosis to the fingertips of anyone needing mental health support, offering an affordable and convenient way to access these tools. UpNow aims to help individuals elevate their mental and physical health through on-demand hypnotherapy services. The platform provides a wide array of audio sessions, exceeding 100 tracks across more than 15 categories, designed to improve wellbeing, manage pain, and boost performance. Recognizing the growing need for accessible mental health solutions, UpNow has even partnered with Cathay Pacific Airways to offer curated hypnotherapy audios on their in-flight entertainment systems since December 2020. UpNow's mission is to contribute to a healthier and happier world by addressing contemporary mental health challenges, empowering users to partner with their minds and align their beliefs with their goals.
