Verbal Behavior Associates® (VBA) is a passionate group of dedicated professionals who believe that children with behavioral and language difficulties can be taught skills to lead independent, fulfilling, and happy lives. Our ultimate goal is for children to make friends, engage in social activities, learn new skills through everyday experiences, and develop a curiosity about the world that naturally motivates them to continually ask questions, learn, and expand their interests. Guided by the latest research in verbal behavior development and using an instructional methodology rooted in the science of applied behavior analysis, we assess, identify, and teach the necessary language repertoires that allow children to succeed in social environments.

At Verbal Behavior Associates, we pride ourselves on our commitment to ongoing training and consultation to enable families to achieve life-changing outcomes. Our team is comprised of 3 PhD professionals, 36 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and over 240 Interventionists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). VBA partners with over 35 school districts across Southern and Northern California, facilitating specialized training and providing tailored support to meet the needs of each child.
