We are VERSO, a pioneer in the field of sustainability software, founded in 2010. Back then, ESG software was still a novel concept, and dedicated sustainability departments were a rarity. Since our inception, we've empowered companies to create and publish hundreds of sustainability reports. Our journey began with the idea, conceived in 2007 in Hawaii and Landsberg am Lech, to develop a software program that makes corporate sustainability transparent. This vision officially materialized in 2010 with the founding of VERSO. By 2012, our software evolved to not only provide transparency but also to make sustainability manageable for companies. Our innovative approach was recognized in 2013 with an EU funding prize, fueling ongoing product development closely tied to the needs of our initial customers. A significant milestone occurred in 2014 when VERSO transitioned into a SaaS solution, leading to a period of growth and expansion into Germany, Austria, and Finland. We were also honored to be included in the 'Future Cloud' program by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT ICT Labs).

We offer a comprehensive, all-in-one solution tailored for medium-sized companies, encompassing a modular cockpit for sustainability managers, a robust supply chain solution, and expert consulting and training. As experienced technology and sustainability specialists, we provide holistic expertise from a single source. In 2018, we relocated our headquarters to the Munich Technology Center (MTZ), a hub for innovative companies. Celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2020, we launched the first CSR software store. A major step forward came in 2023 when VERSO joined forces with sustainabill and the Silvester Group, establishing us as a leading European provider of software and consulting for sustainability management and reporting.
