Fire Alarm Technician at DGA SECURITY SYSTEMS INC

DGA Security Systems is currently seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a well-established, industry-leading company.

As a technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72, NYC Fire Code, and local jurisdictional requirements. Your work will involve setting up and diagnosing issues with fire alarm control panels, batteries, Data Gathering Panels (DGPs), notification appliances, initiating devices, and remote annunciators to ensure proper functionality and code compliance.

Role Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and test Fire Alarm Systems and devices. Ensure all devices and systems follow NFPA standards and local codes. Accurately complete inspection reports and service documentation. Communicate with customers regarding service issues and resolutions. Demonstrate safe use of ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools. Know how to install electrical conduit as per the NEC and NYC requirements Opportunity to advance within the company through clearly defined career paths and regular performance reviews.
