Events Coordinator at Cotiviti

Overview

The Events Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external events that create meaningful, well-organized experiences for clients, prospective clients, employees, and key stakeholders. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Events, this role works closely with the marketing team and cross-functional partners, particularly Go-to-Market teams, to help deliver events that align with business goals, brand standards, timelines, and budgets.

This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative, operational, and logistical activities required to execute successful event campaigns. Responsibilities include coordinating attendee registration, vendor onboarding, exhibitor orders, shipping and tracking of event materials, swag inventory, budget tracking, event documentation, and post-event reporting. The Events Coordinator will also provide on-site support as needed, including booth setup and dismantle, materials management, booth staffing coordination, and support for special events or VIP activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual should bring strong communication skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow within the marketing events function. With guidance from the broader events team, the Events Coordinator may also have the opportunity to manage smaller event initiatives from planning through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and logistics for internal and external events, including industry conferences, sales-driven events, executive programs, client meetings, and employee recognition activities.
  • Coordinate event administration, including attendee registration, exhibitor orders, vendor onboarding, shipping, tracking, and materials management.
  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including internal briefing documents, communication drafts, training resources, and meeting support materials.
  • Manage swag, including orders, inbound and outbound requests, inventory tracking, and fulfillment through Reachdesk or other designated platforms.
  • Support event budget tracking by monitoring expenses, processing purchase orders and invoices, managing P-card purchases, and completing receipt reconciliation and reporting.
  • Assist with event-related research, including venue, vendor, promotional, incentive, and attendee experience needs.
  • Compile post-event reporting, including campaign tactics, outcomes, internal survey responses, and key learnings to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide on-site event support as needed, including booth setup and dismantle, materials coordination, staffing support, and VIP or special event logistics.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in marketing and/or one to three years’ relevant experience in corporate events. Healthcare experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Base compensation ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
