About the role
The next step in evolving our data partnerships business will be hiring a Technical Account Manager, Data Licensing In this role, you'll manage the deployment and ongoing delivery of Fetch's data licensing partnerships, serving as the primary connection between external partners and Fetch's Sales, Product, Data, Analytics, and Technical teams.
You'll help translate commercial data licensing agreements into clear implementation plans, coordinate technical requirements and data delivery, and ensure partners can successfully access and use Fetch data in accordance with agreed-upon use cases. You'll manage partnerships from implementation through ongoing delivery, identifying risks, resolving issues, and creating scalable processes that support partner success and revenue growth.
This is a full-time role that can be held remotely in the New York and Chicago areas. This role requires on-site visits to clients in these markets.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between data partners and Fetch's internal teams during the deployment and ongoing delivery of data licensing agreements.
- Translate commercial partnership requirements into clear implementation plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, and timelines.
- Manage the end-to-end deployment of licensed data products, coordinating partner onboarding, data delivery, testing, validation, launch, and ongoing support.
- Partner with Sales and Account Management to understand contractual requirements, partner use cases, and expectations, then operationalize those requirements with Product, Data, Analytics, Legal, and Technical teams.
- Develop comprehensive partnership plans that outline implementation requirements, key goals, challenges, dependencies, and future roadmaps with partners.
- Manage partnership delivery and performance, reviewing data and relevant KPIs to monitor timelines, progress, data quality, and partner health.
- Coordinate technical requirements with partners, including data specifications, delivery methods, taxonomy, documentation, and recurring data feeds.
- Identify implementation risks, technical blockers, or data quality issues and coordinate internal and external stakeholders toward resolution.
- Ensure data deployments and ongoing delivery remain aligned with the agreed-upon partnership scope and licensed use cases, escalating potential gaps or changes to the appropriate Sales, Legal, Product, or Technical stakeholders.
- Indirectly contribute to revenue growth by improving implementation, identifying opportunities to expand partner use cases, and surfacing partner needs or feedback to the commercial team.
- Provide partners with regular updates on implementation progress, data delivery, performance, and relevant product or process changes.
- Educate partner stakeholders on Fetch's data products, capabilities, delivery processes, and technical requirements.
- Liaise between partners and internal stakeholders, relaying partner feedback to inform product and process improvements.
- Maintain a thorough, up-to-date understanding of Fetch's data products, licensing capabilities, delivery methods, and strategies that impact partner relationships, including bespoke offerings developed around partner needs.
- Maintain cross-functional program management and communication across Sales, Product, Data, Analytics, Legal, and Technical teams.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and improve deployment workflows, documentation, and partner support as Fetch's data licensing business scales.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to support documentation, project management, issue identification, partner communication, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of technical account management, supporting data licensing.
- Prior experience supporting the implementation or ongoing delivery of data products, data integrations, APIs, or other technical solutions.
- Experience managing complex projects across multiple internal and external stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience translating partner or business requirements into clear implementation plans, workflows, and deliverables.
- Experience working with complex data and communicating data-informed insights, issues, or recommendations to partners and colleagues.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and multiple concurrent partner deployments.
- Proficient skills in influencing, problem solving, and managing ambiguity.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to manage and operationalize large-scale projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Able to travel when necessary to support partner meetings, implementations, or presentations.
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity with data delivery and integration concepts, including APIs, cloud-based data sharing, recurring data feeds, file-based delivery, or similar methods.
- Experience working with technical teams to troubleshoot data quality, implementation, or delivery issues.
- Experience with advanced Excel, including managing and synthesizing large data sets and using functions such as filters, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of consumer insights, measurement, and marketing terminology.
- Experience with Salesforce functions and dashboards.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, Legal, Sales, or Account Management teams.
- Familiarity with data licensing concepts such as permitted use cases, data access, delivery requirements, and partner obligations.
- Comfortable with autonomy, resourcefulness, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with AI-driven decision-support or automation tools.
Compensation
At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $ 121,224-$142,616. We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
