Job Description

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day, enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, including protecting the environment, ensuring food safety, and helping to find cures for cancer.

DESCRIPTION

In partnership with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Global Application Specialists, you’ll translate customer needs and market insights into strategies that support product development, commercialization, and portfolio growth. You’ll also contribute competitive intelligence and Voice of Customer insights to help shape regional technical direction, identify emerging opportunities, and strengthen strategic account planning.

As a technical thought leader, you’ll represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer innovation workshops, scientific conferences, and industry events. You’ll mentor and coach junior Application Specialists, promote regional best practices, and elevate the organization’s scientific credibility and application expertise.

  • Proven success identifying specification opportunities, platform expansion opportunities, and workflow improvements.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear operational, manufacturing, and business value for customers.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through mentoring, Voice of Customer insights, technical presentations, and industry engagement.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and consultative skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
