We have a vacancy for a Procurement Assistant in our Global Clinical Supplies Team .
A day in the life
Responsible for supporting procurement and financial processes related to clinical supplies vendors. The role involves creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, processing invoices, and resolving procurement-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Supports Vendor Management through accurate financial tracking, and invoice issues reporting.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs)
- Monitor PO lifecycle and resolve discrepancies
- Perform receipt and validation of vendor invoices
- Support invoice reconciliation
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements
- Ensure compliance with procurement and financial procedures
Qualifications and experience
- Advance English and good communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) in clinical trials or supply chain
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently with moderate direct supervision
- Ability to utilize proper channels of communications to voice concerns and suggestion
