About the role
The Sales Development Representative is a driving force behind Doximity’s growth. We’re on a mission to connect healthcare professionals in smarter ways, and this team plays a key role in making that happen. Sales Development helps us identify new opportunities, expand our reach with existing clients, and create meaningful connections that set our sales teams up for success.
As a Hospital Solutions Sales Development Representative, you will focus on driving demand for Doximity Hospital Solutions, our best-in-class clinician marketing suite. You’ll take ownership of researching accounts, identifying key decision-makers in physician and APP marketing across our book of business, and engaging them through multiple channels to introduce our marketing capabilities and value.
Location: This role is Remote in in the U.S.
How you’ll make an impact
- Prospect via phone, email, and social media into hospitals, health systems, and medical groups to drive new Hospital Solutions opportunities with both existing customers and new prospects
- Partner closely with the Hospital Solutions Sales Team members to create territory plans and land-and-expand strategies within target accounts
- Become a subject matter expert on Doximity Hospital Solutions and clearly articulate the platform’s value to physician and APP marketing stakeholders
- Qualify inbound interest and outbound-sourced opportunities, uncovering opportunity for marketing partnerships and mapping them to Hospital Solutions offerings
- Schedule and set high-quality discovery calls and product demos for the Hospital Solutions sales team, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear documentation in Salesforce
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn, and internal product usage signals to prioritize outreach and manage your prospecting workflow
- Manage your daily activity and funnel metrics (calls, emails, social touches, meetings set, opportunities created) to drive data-informed decision-making
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generated
What we’re looking for
- 1 year of prior relevant experience required (sales development, business development, or similar client-facing role)
- Integrity, coachability, and a strong sense of urgency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate Doximity Hospital Solutions’s value proposition to a range of stakeholders (marketing teams, service line leaders, physicians, and executives)
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage a high volume of accounts, contacts, and touchpoints across your territory
- Experience and success with cold-calling and outbound prospecting, with an understanding of what it’s like to work against a quota
- Someone with a growth mindset who wants to develop professionally and advance into a full-cycle sales role
- Familiarity with healthcare, physician/APP marketing, or SaaS sales is a plus but not required
Compensation
The anticipated total compensation for this role is $64,800 - $93,680, depending on factors such as experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
