We are continually seeking talented Clinical Sales Specialists for current and future opportunities across the United States. In this field-based role, you will drive revenue growth, develop new business opportunities, and build lasting customer relationships while representing our diagnostic products, testing solutions, and services.
Depending on the business and opportunity, Clinical Sales Specialists may support different diagnostic portfolios, clinical specialties, customer segments, and geographic territories. Customers may include health systems, hospitals, clinical and reference laboratories, physician practices, national and regional accounts, and other healthcare organizations.
As a trusted advisor, you will use a consultative approach to understand customer needs, clinical and laboratory workflows, and business priorities and connect customers with solutions that support their clinical, operational, and business goals.
Location and Territory
Opportunities may be available across the United States and generally support an assigned geographic territory. Specific location, territory, and travel requirements will vary by opportunity.
Travel of approximately 50–75% may be required depending on territory and business needs.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include
- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to achieve sales, revenue, and market-growth objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned customer segments and geographic markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, laboratory personnel, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
- Apply a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs, clinical applications, workflows, and business priorities.
- Communicate the clinical, operational, and business value of diagnostic products, testing solutions, and services.
- Drive adoption, implementation, and utilization of diagnostic solutions within targeted accounts, as applicable.
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and close.
- Maintain accurate territory plans, sales pipelines, account activity, and forecasts using CRM and sales tracking tools.
- Analyze territory performance, market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with commercial, marketing, medical, technical, service, business development, and other cross-functional teams to support customers and achieve business objectives.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, as applicable to the specific opportunity.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within diagnostics, laboratory, life sciences, healthcare, medical devices, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience developing new business, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales or revenue targets.
- Experience managing a territory, account portfolio, sales pipeline, and forecast.
- Experience working effectively in collaborative, cross-functional, or matrixed organizations.
- Additional experience or technical expertise may be preferred depending on the diagnostic portfolio and specific opportunity.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong consultative selling, business development, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical and clinical concepts, diagnostic solutions, customer applications, and healthcare or laboratory workflows.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a geographically dispersed territory and multiple customer priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license where required for the assigned territory.
- Ability to travel approximately 50–75%, depending on territory and business requirements.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary pay range estimated for this position Account Manager III based in Pennsylvania is $63,900.00–$85,200.00.
