About the role

Who You Are

You're excited about helping people and want to learn how a sales team works in a fun, fast-paced environment. You'll support our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) by answering replies from customers and prospects, booking and confirming meetings, sending reminders, following up with people who missed their call, and making sure warm leads get to the right BDR quickly.

You're comfortable working alongside a team that's busy and goal driven, and you're ready to learn new skills like managing your time, staying organized, and communicating clearly by phone, text, and email.

To do well in this role, you'll want to be confident, friendly, and positive, even when things get busy. You'll often be the first person a customer talks to after a BDR reaches out, so making a good impression matters. This apprenticeship is also a great way to learn how sales works and build toward a future BDR role at HighLevel. At HighLevel, everyone stays on camera during calls with customers, teammates, and managers.

  • Work Type: Apprenticeship
  • Department: Revenue Growth
  • Sub Department: Customer Retention
  • Duration: 6 Months

  • Location: Remote (India)

  • Learning HighLevel's products and the customers we serve, including agencies, small businesses, and SaaSpreneurs
  • Answering replies to BDR outreach across calls, texts, chats, and emails
  • Booking meetings and demos on BDR calendars and sending calendar invites
  • Calling, texting, and emailing customers to confirm and remind them about upcoming meetings
  • Following up with customers who missed a meeting and helping them reschedule
  • Asking a few simple questions to understand what a customer needs before passing them to a BDR
  • Passing warm and interested leads to the right BDR quickly so no opportunity is missed
  • Welcoming customers into video meetings and making sure they're connected with their BDR
  • Logging your conversations and next steps in our CRM so the team always knows where things stand
  • Helping customers with basic questions or connecting them to the right team, like Support or Trial Experience
  • Helping the team stay organized by setting reminders and keeping follow-ups on track
  • Learning more about sales and our products by joining team meetings, call reviews, and trainings
  • Being flexible, other tasks might come up as the business changes

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent qualification.
  • Good communication skills in English; comfortable speaking with US-based business owners
  • No prior experience required, we'll train you! Any past experience answering calls, scheduling, customer service, or sales is a nice bonus, not a requirement
  • Friendly phone, text, email, and chat communication style
  • Comfortable picking up the phone and talking to people you haven't met before
  • Ability to stay organized and keep track of lots of follow-ups
  • Comfortable juggling a few tasks at once in a fast-paced day
  • Patience and good listening skills
  • A positive, team-first attitude
  • An interest in sales and learning how a sales team works
  • Able to work from home, on camera, in a quiet space
  • Reliable high-speed internet at home
  • Open to working US business hours, including some early mornings, late nights, or weekends
  • Comfortable using a Mac with multiple monitors, and open to learning tools like the HighLevel CRM, Google Suite, Zoom, Slack, and Excel
