ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

Latin America is one of Amplitude's largest regions, with more than $20M in customer ARR across leading digital businesses in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. We go to market with a hybrid model: our team sells directly to our largest customers, and we sell with and through regional partners who help us reach new markets and serve customers in their language. As General Manager, you'll own the full LATAM business, direct and partner, and lead the team that grows it. You'll be based in São Paulo and report to VP Americas.

AS GENERAL MANAGER, LATIN AMERICA, YOU WILL

  • Own the LATAM go-to-market strategy and results across direct, sell-with and sell-through motions, including clear rules of engagement between our sellers and partners.
  • Lead and grow the regional team of Account Executives and a Partner Sales Manager, and work closely with and dotted line lead the Customer Success, Solutions Consulting and Sales Development teams who support LATAM; hire, coach and develop leaders in-region.
  • Build a partner ecosystem that scales: select, sign and enable reseller, referral, consulting and agency partners, and work with our cloud and data platform partners.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for our largest customers, driving retention, expansion and long-term value.
  • Forecast accurately across the direct and partner business and run a disciplined operating cadence.
  • Be the voice of LATAM inside Amplitude, partnering with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Product and Deal Desk on localized programs, events and pricing.
  • Drive a culture of urgency and high standards in the region - hiring top talent and coaching and driving high performance and continuous improvement.

YOU'LL BE A GREAT ADDITION TO THE TEAM IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience on both sides of the ecosystem, at a software company and at an agency, consultancy or partner.
  • A background in analytics, martech, data or digital experience software.
  • Relationships with digital-native, fintech and retail leaders in Latin America.
  • Experience launching a region or building a partner program from an early stage.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC or a similar sales methodology, and with cloud marketplaces or distribution partners.

AT A MINIMUM, YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • 8+ years in B2B software sales, including 5+ years leading sales teams.
  • Experience leading a business with both direct and partner (indirect) revenue in Latin America.
  • Experience forecasting and managing a multi-country business.
  • Professional fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, São Paulo, Brazil, with regular travel across Latin America.
