Job description

Manager, Provider Recruiting (Domestic) at Spring Health

OUR MISSION: ELIMINATING EVERY BARRIER TO MENTAL HEALTH.

Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.

Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.

As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.

Spring Health is actively seeking a Manager, Provider Recruiting to join our Provider Recruiting Team within the Provider Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Provider Recruiting, the Manager, Provider Recruiting will lead strategic recruitment initiatives to build and maintain a high-quality domestic Provider provider network at a sustainable cost of scaling. This is a full-time, fully remote position with minimal travel required (approximately 1–2 weeks per year for company and team offsites).

What you’ll do

  • Manage end-to-end Provider provider recruitment, staying on pace with the hiring model to support forecasted demand and ongoing customer launches.
  • Navigate competing operational priorities—balancing rapid customer launch deadlines, urgent escalated member needs, and broader network expansion initiatives—with guidance from senior leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Analytics, Customer Success, and Implementation teams to align network capacity with customer requirements while maintaining cost-of-scaling targets.
  • Scale provider network coverage with a rigorous focus on recruiting clinicians who deliver exceptional quality and continuity of care.
  • Oversee recruiter capacity, sourcing strategies, and candidate pipelines to drive high-throughput hiring across target geographies and specialties.
  • Implement AI tools and automated workflows across the recruiting life cycle—including candidate outreach, screening, SOP documentation, and operational reporting—to increase throughput without a proportional increase in recruiter effort.
  • Optimize candidate routing, workflows, and process cycle times to reduce average handle time and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
  • Directly coach, develop, and mentor team members, setting clear performance expectations and driving high execution standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Provider compliance, quality standards, and credentialing handoff protocols.

What success looks like in this role

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly hiring throughput targets while staying aligned with the overall Provider hiring model.
  • Maintain target cost-per-hire metrics to support sustainable network scaling across all Provider specialties.
  • Deliver required provider capacity on time for new customer launches and forecasted demand surges.
  • Maintain high standards for quality and continuity of care across all hired Provider providers.
  • Drive measurable team efficiency gains through operational workflow redesign and AI tool integration.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven track record in high-volume healthcare or Provider provider recruitment.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration experience partnering with analytics, customer success, and operations teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement AI tools in daily operational workflows to draft SOPs, streamline candidate communications, track metrics, and scale throughput.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, analyze, and translate operational recruiting metrics into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
  • Experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, fully remote environment.
  • Ability to travel 1–2 weeks per year for company and team offsites.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or digital health recruitment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and talent platforms, with Salesforce ATS experience considered a plus.
