The Privia Platform is led by top industry talent and exceptional physician leadership, and consists of scalable operations and end-to-end, cloud-based technology that reduces unnecessary healthcare costs, achieves better outcomes, and improves the health of patients and the well-being of providers

The Communications Associate will assist in the planning, development, and execution of Care Center and clinician communications initiatives.

The candidate must possess an organized, flexible, thoughtful, and creative approach to communicating Privia’s mission to our clinician practices and employees. They will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically, be a reliable communicator, and collaborate with all teams at various levels of the company. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who can work fast and smart, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and recommend effective approaches based on audience needs, business objectives, and communications data.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of communication campaigns across all teams to deliver Privia’s messages and key strategies to Care Center stakeholders.
  • Oversee the national clinician and Care Center project communications workstreams.
  • Own the editorial process for our clinician-facing newsletters, email campaigns, project email series, and ad hoc emails to ensure timely, relevant, tailored, and accurate content.
  • Administer and optimize our marketing communications platform, Account Engagement, by ensuring data accuracy, creating templates, executing campaigns, and monitoring metrics.
  • Support the development, editing, and publication of knowledge articles in Privia’s Care Center intranet, Privia Connect, to ensure content aligns with brand standards and educates Care Center staff on Privia’s services, programs, and best practices.
  • Analyze healthcare industry trends and communications data to identify areas of opportunity, measure campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements to messaging, targeting, and cadence.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across all markets to support and execute communications for business priorities, launches, organizational changes, and strategic efforts while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain and enhance project dashboards in monday.com by monitoring project progress, tracking deliverables, following up with stakeholders, and updating board statuses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communications processes, tools, and best practices to increase efficiency and enhance the effectiveness of Care Center communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills required
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and actionable communications
  • Demonstrated experience developing communications strategies from planning through execution
  • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to advise stakeholders on messaging, audience needs, timing, and communications best practices while maintaining Privia’s voice and style
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong project management capabilities, including managing competing priorities, timelines, and approvals
  • Experience with a comprehensive email marketing tool such as Pardot or HubSpot
  • Salesforce and monday.com experience preferred
  • Ability to work creatively as part of a team and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of leadership
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment, and respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly, receive feedback, and adapt to new tools, processes, and business needs
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and/or interest preferred
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

The salary range for this role is $65,000.00-$70,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15%. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
