What you'll do
: The Network Engineer will be part of a team responsible for the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of the network infrastructure supporting Navy Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training systems. In this role, you will maintain complex enterprise and tactical networks that enable distributed simulation environments, real-time data exchange, and large-scale combat training exercises involving Navy, Joint, and coalition participants. Responsibilities
: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and tactical network architectures. Support classified and unclassified training networks. Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network management systems. Maintain network availability and performance across geographically dispersed training locations. Support connectivity between live platforms, simulators, command centers, and remote training participants. Implement boundary defense solutions and network segmentation.
Maintain firewall rules and access controls. Support cybersecurity audits, vulnerability remediation, and RMF compliance. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and security incidents. Serve as a technical lead during major fleet and coalition training events. Monitor network health throughout exercises.
