Senior Manager, Home Energy Rebates Program at Cogent Security LLC
Position Location: 1000 Independence Ave SW, Washington D.C. 20585
Salary: $130,000 - $170,000
Work Environment: Remote
Travel Required: 10%-15%
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager will support the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of State and Community
Energy Programs (SCEP), Home Energy Rebates program. The Home Energy Rebates program delivers
formula funding to states and communities to lower household energy costs through whole-home
efficiency retrofits and electrification of appliances and equipment.
The Senior Manager serves as the primary contractor point of contact for the Home Energy Rebates
HOMES or HEEHR federal teams and manages a team of Project Monitors and Grant Monitors
supporting the full grant lifecycle.
Specific requirements and responsibilities include:

- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for Home Rebates federal staff, including Program
- Support federal staff in the review, negotiation, and approval of state and community program
- Prepare and deliver briefings, decision memos, data summaries, and presentations for federal
- Manage, mentor, and allocate a team of Project Monitors and Grants Monitors across an assigned
- Assign and balance workload against priority and response-time requirements; escalate
- Perform final quality control review of work products before delivery to DOE.
