We are hiring a media relations pro to join the communications team at one of the world's most recognized social media companies, supporting two apps that sit at the center of culture. You will shape how millions of people first hear about new features, creator moments, and the trends everyone will be talking about next week.

This is a dedicated media relations seat, not a generalist comms role. Your job is to pitch, place, and win coverage. If that sounds like your happy place, keep reading.

What Your Days Will Look Like

Own media relations for high visibility product launches, landing coverage across consumer and tech publications, next generation outlets, and creator and social publisher networks

Spot the story before anyone else does, from Gen Z trends and creator led case studies to cultural music moments and viral platform content

Craft sharp pitch angles, press narratives, and outreach plans that cut through a crowded news cycle

Build genuine relationships with the reporters, creators, and social publishers who shape consumer tech and youth culture coverage

Team up with product, marketing, and partnerships to bring launch strategies to life

Watch your results roll in, then iterate fast on what lands

What Makes You Great at This

4 or more years in public relations, journalism, social media, or a related field

A real network. You can name your media contacts and point to coverage you personally secured

A gift for turning product features into stories reporters actually want to write

Creative instincts for next generation outlets and social platforms

Writing chops that shine across press releases, blog posts, brand narratives, and social content

Energy for collaboration and speed. This team moves fast and loves it

Bonus Points For

Consumer or lifestyle PR agency experience with fast paced pitching reps

A sixth sense for trends and framing features into culture stories

Existing media connections in the New York or Los Angeles market

Location : Remote or Hybrid in New York City or Los Angeles, (must be located in the United States)
