The Opportunity

Top Dog Law is one of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms in the country. We build campaigns that ring phones and fill pipelines — not brand awareness plays. We're seeking a results-driven Media Buyer to join our performance marketing team, with a primary focus on lead generation across paid digital channels.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience in lead generation media — legal, insurance, home services, or comparable high-intent verticals. We will also consider strong candidates from ecommerce or CPG backgrounds who demonstrate a clear understanding of lead-gen funnel dynamics and platform fundamentals.

  • Own hands-on media buying across all core platforms: Google (Demand Gen, YouTube), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat with lead quality metrics as the primary KPI
  • Execute campaign builds including audience segmentation, creative testing frameworks, budget pacing,
  • Monitor daily performance across channels — flagging anomalies, scaling winners, and pausing
  • Familiar with building out new lead forms and optimizing landing page experience
  • Understanding of pixel and data integrity to ensure all events are firing correctly
  • Expand into emerging channels as appropriate:
  • Set up, launch, and continually optimize campaigns across Google Demand Gen, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat and additional platforms
  • Continually test audiences, creatives, landing pages, and offers — documenting learnings and presenting results
  • Manage and adjust budgets, targeting parameters, and bid strategies to maximize qualified lead volume and CPL efficiency
  • Coordinate with intake and operations teams to connect ad spend to downstream case quality, using that data to inform ongoing media strategy
  • Partner with the creative team to brief ad concepts, provide performance-based feedback, and identify winning hooks, formats, and messaging angles (familiarity with Motion is a plus)
  • Develop or contribute to ad copy, asset specifications, and landing page recommendations to maximize campaign performance
  • Work with decision science team to enhance dashboard reporting and build dashboards to fit your needs
  • Analyze dashboard performance daily across all channels to make data driven decisions
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards that surface actionable insights on CPL, lead quality, conversion rates, and spend efficiency
  • Prepare regular performance updates or reports, covering goals, results, and forward-looking strategy
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and ensure the program remains innovative and growth-oriented
  • Build and maintain relationships with media partners and platform reps to stay ahead of new products, betas, and negotiated terms
  • Develop and manage media budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation, making data-driven adjustments as performance dictates

  • 3+ years of hands-on paid media buying experience in-house or agency side
  • Proven track record managing significant monthly ad budgets ($100K–$1M+) with measurable performance or lead generation outcomes
  • Primary background in lead generation — legal, insurance, home services, financial services, or comparable performance-driven verticals preferred
  • Ecommerce or CPG experience considered if paired with demonstrated understanding of lead-gen funnel dynamics and platform fundamentals
  • Deep expertise in Google Demand Gen — campaign architecture, audience strategies, asset performance signals, and bidding optimization
  • Expert-level Meta Ads Manager proficiency
  • Highly data-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proven problem-solver who proactively identifies issues, diagnoses root causes, and acts without waiting to be directed
  • Strong creative intuition — can identify what makes an ad hook work, brief video concepts, and translate data into creative direction
  • Experience using AI platforms to actively build workflows and to accelerate/analyze performance data
  • Prior experience buying media in the legal or personal injury vertical
  • Hands-on experience with TikTok Ads Manager, AppLovin, or Snapchat Ads
  • Exposure to CRM integrations and lead routing logic (Salesforce, Zapier, Make)
  • Experience in-house or a performance marketing agency managing multiple lead-gen clients across
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as GA4, Looker Studio, or comparable BI tools
