Area Recruiter/Admissions Rep - Part Time

The Regional Recruiter is a vital member of GU's Admissions team, responsible for building and sustaining relationships with churches, community colleges, and Christian and non-Christian secondary schools throughout an assigned territory. This position serves as the University's primary point of contact for community partners and serves as the first impression for many prospective students and their families.

The Regional Recruiter must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and relate well to pastors, school counselors, community college staff, prospective students, and their families. The Regional Recruiter will travel extensively within their assigned region to cultivate long-term partnerships with churches (of all denominations), community colleges, and both Christian and public/secular high schools.

This includes representing the University at college nights, career fairs, youth group events, transfer fairs, and campus visits. These outreach efforts focus on increasing enrollment by building trust with gatekeepers in the community — pastors, guidance counselors, transfer advisors, and school administrators — and by attracting academically strong, mission-aligned students from diverse backgrounds. Due to the nature of this role, evening, weekend, and overnight travel will be required.
