Purpose : Avelo Airlines is seeking a Temporary Talent Recruiter to support our hiring efforts through the next few months, with a primary focus on recruiting Flight Attendants and Pilots. As Avelo continues to grow, this role will play a critical part in helping us attract, engage, and hire top aviation talent to support our expanding operation. This position is expected to continue into November 2026 with a possibility of extending into December 2026.

The Temporary Talent Recruiter will partner closely with Avelo’s Talent Acquisition Lead, who oversees all flight crew recruitment. In addition, this position will have an opportunity to work with operational leaders and other members of the Talent Acquisition team to execute Avelo’s recruitment strategies and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing airline and help build the teams that take care of Avelo’s Customers.

Responsibilities

Partner with Talent Acquisition Lead to recruit, select and hire Flight Attendants and Pilots across Avelo's network. Responsibilities will include application review and assessment, candidate screening and virtual interviews, top candidate selection, offer creation, and onboarding coordination. Partner closely with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities. Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications throughout the hiring process. Track and maintain accurate candidate information within Paylocity and Airline Apps. Ensure every candidate receives a positive experience aligned with Avelo's mission, values, and brand. Support recruiting events and job fairs as needed. Monitor recruiting metrics and provide updates on hiring progress and pipeline activity. Demonstrate Avelo's One Crew mentality in every interaction. Own it!
