Why it matters: Axios Pro Deals operates as a team of journalists focused on delivering the dealmaking community news that is essential to their jobs. We are looking for a talented, collaborative, experienced reporter to join this team and break news for our highly engaged, loyal audience.

  • You should be obsessed with beating the competition on mergers, LBOs and hostile takeovers.You must be well sourced inside the banks, law firms, advisers and everywhere in the M&A world. You also need to have the expertise to clearly explain why it all matters to Axios readers.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $100,000 - $130,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
