include implementing and monitoring center compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, classroom quality and enrollment, conducting staff meetings, and building relationships with families and community organizations to meet the needs of children and families, in partnership with Component Coordinators and other agencies. and/or training needs for teachers Supervise and evaluate, up to 7 Lead Teachers / center staff, in meeting Head Start Performance Standards. Observes teaching staff to help prepare reports, primarily within the ChildPlus database, outlining center’s achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement. Conducts weekly meetings / site check-ins with Lead Teachers and Center Staff.
Maintain reliability in ECERS (Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale), and CLASS® (CLassroom Assessment Scoring System), in order to conduct ECERS and CLASS observations, and provide feedback to teachers regarding classroom environment(s) and adult-child interactions. Assist in hiring and conduct performance reviews, addressing staff conduct and performance issues.
Acts as a liaison to component coordinators and support staff in maintaining consistency in program operation, short and long-range planning, program options, monitoring and evaluation of compliance
